Mothers Day
Sunday, May 11, 2003

Mothers day marked Tess's 1 week birthday.  She appears healthy and is doing well.  Eating and pooping a lot.  Back to birth weight.  Lost her Bell Button stub on Saturday.  She took her first stroller ride after dinner.  We went to the park.  She seemed to like being outside.

Pam is totally engrossed in her new child.  She is physically stressed with continual breast feeding and the conditioning discomfort.  Tess mostly feeds every 2 hours, and poops  between every feeding.  Yes, we're changing 10 to 14 diapers a day.  She is starting to go an occasional 3 hour stretch.  Pam is obviously sleep deprived.

Sam seems to be adjusting well.  He's getting lots of gifts.  Everyone who stops by to see the baby brings something for Sam.  He likes talking to her, holds her gently, and is clearly bonded to the idea of having a sibling.

We've been eating like royalty.  Our Preschool organized dinners every other day through Tuesday.  The meals have been a great help and are superbly done.  It's fun to have the variety.

The Lakers won to even the series at 2 games a piece.
